Catherine is the co Chief Operating Officer of Phoenix Court, founded in 2015, and home of LocalGlobe, EMEA’s number one venture fund.

An experienced and values-led international C-suite executive with a strong track record in the People, Governance, and ESG fields, she brings in-depth previous board experience as both an executive and non-executive board member.

Catherine is the Founder and CEO of Andante Advisory, a boutique consultancy firm which operates as a trusted partner to senior executives and leading organisations on Culture, People and Purpose. (As Catherine is currently devoting the majority of her time to Phoenix Court, Andante is not currently taking on new clients.)

Catherine was the first female Managing Partner appointed at SoftBank Investment Advisers, the world’s largest technology investment firm with $175 billion under management in the two SoftBank Vision Funds and SoftBank Latin America Funds. As Chief People Officer, she led the HR, ESG and Real Estate teams globally.

An experienced and trusted executive coach at C-suite level, she worked with companies across the Vision Fund portfolio on leadership, talent, DE&I, ESG, and operating challenges, including as a Board Director.

Catherine built SBIA’s ESG practice and designed its strategy for Social Impact. She led SoftBank’s early stage venture funds focused on diverse founders, both the $100m+ SB Opportunity Fund (US) and Emerge (EMEA), including as an Investment Committee member.

Catherine is a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum (Class of 2021); a founding member of Sustainability30 (which brings together Chief Sustainability Officers from 30 of the world’s leading companies), and an active participant in the UK angel investor community.

She spent the formative years of her career at UBS AG, Switzerland’s leading financial services firm. She has deep executive experience across the People, Talent and DE&I fields, and speaks and writes regularly on future of work topics.

Catherine grew up in the UK, studied at Cambridge University, has lived and worked in the US, Italy and France, and is active as a third sector advisor and trustee.
